He is graduated in Literature at UFPB, a university in Joao Pessoa,Paraiba, Brazil. He started at cinema in 1997, in "O Baile Perfumado". His most famous films are "Eu, Tu, Eles" (2000), "Abril Despedaçado" (2001)and "Carandiru" (2003).
