Lance Eakright spent his formative years at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, a boy's home in the Texas panhandle. There he learned the fundamentals of honesty, respect, discipline and solid work ethics. With a 10,000 acre backyard to exercise his energetic and adventurous spirit, Lance took his natural ability with horses and learned to trick ride, ride bucking horses and he even tried his hand at being a rodeo clown- which was perfect for Lance as he always enjoyed being on stage and making people laugh. In his senior year at Cal Farley's, his Drama class won the State One Act Play contest and Lance brought home three All Star Cast awards. Upon graduation Lance moved to Dallas to pursue acting full time. His acting career was short lived in the beginning, forcing Lance to take various jobs such as; a jeweler, a limo driver, auto body repairman, computer technician, a stagehand for countless concerts, construction worker, national sales manager for a skin care company, owner of a beauty supply distributorship and as a roadie for ZZ Top -one of the greatest bands ever! For eight years, Lance played "Bamm Bamm" from The Flintstones while waiting tables for a well -known themed restaurant. Recently Lance has resurrected his professional acting career. His character roles include a zombie killer, a rancher, an outlaw cowboy, a father, a Texas ranger and a murderer. Lance is also an accredited stunt double and stunt coordinator. You can also hear him as an animated character's voice and in commercial voice over's. He also has experience working behind the camera as an art director, set dresser, grip, props, wrangler and producer. Lance explains his passion gives him energy and enthusiasm. When on the set of a film, commercial or video production, you will surely notice his energy. Working behind the camera has given Lance even more respect for the hard work and long hours the crew has to put in on every project. Lance is a regular script reading actor at the Dallas Screenwriters Association monthly meetings. In 2009 he was honored by the DSA as Favorite Male Actor of the year. He is also an amateur archaeologist with an impressive collection of Native American artifacts, fossils and bones.
