Ty Leisher is a writer and director from Los Angeles. He grew up in the shadow of Hollywood and was addicted to telling stories with moving pictures from a very young age. He has had the honor of directing such talented actors and musicians as MTV's Faking It star Michael J Willett, Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner, The Voice's Erick Macek, Dexter star Dave Baez and Poker Pro Ali Eslami. His 2012 web series, Bullets was heralded as "Better than Rounders" by Bluff Magazine. Ty is a writer and director of dark crime dramas, sickening thrillers and action comedies. Major (Retired) Terrence "Ty" Manns enlisted into the U.S. military in 1980 and commission Army 2LT Regular Army, Infantry from the Army ROTC program at Wright-State University, Dayton, Ohio. in 1989. Under their Manns Mackie Studios banner, they produced the February 2021 BET Plus Original Film "Redeemed" co-written and Directed by Ty and the Collide Distribution and Universal Studios distributed March 2021 theatrical release of the feature film "My Brother's Keeper" written and executive produced by Ty. He will perform as executive producer for Arkansas based film production company UP2U Films for their May 2021 production of the feature film "Running The Bases" and Ty will write, produce and direct a Chicago based production company's feature film "$1200 dollars and a Wish" in September 2021.
