His feature script 'The 8th Sin' won an honourable mention for Best Sci-fi script in 2019 at the Los Angeles film awards. In 2020 Uzair has won 6 international screenplay awards in multiple categories such as best action screenplay and best sci fi screenplay at the los angles film awards, top shorts and a few others for his latest TV series - Black Rose - now in pre production. Uzair is finishing working on 'the CW''s latest blockbuster franchise : Superman & Lois up in Vancouver, released on feb 2021.
