Yana Mulder, actress and TV reporter, was born in Ulyanovsk and raised in Magadan, Russian Federation. Currently, she is receiving her Master's in Journalism from Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2014 she graduated from the Modern Academy of Humanities and Moscow Institute of Radio and TV Broadcasting, majoring in linguistics and journalism. Since graduating, Mulder has worked in Moscow and New York for several television networks. After immigrating to the US in 2016, she decided to pursue a full-time career in acting. Since, Yana has received a Best Comedic Actress award at the Southeast Regional Film Festival for Ivana Sukova in the Amazon Prime series Porte Richmond and multiple nominations from American and foreign film festivals for her dramatic and horror performances. She balanced the summer with two films in which she stars, Sound Hunters, where she plays glamorous and famous singer from the 1960's and 2cm South from the Temple, where her character is on the verge of a mental breakdown.

She started performing in ice-skating and ballet performances at the age of eight.
