AJ Achinger
AJ Achinger is a film and television actor who got his start in the theater at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in New York. He went on to appear in professional productions such as Broadway Across America's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang before relocating to Los Angeles as a teen to pursue acting full time. AJ, never loosing his initial love for theater, regularly performs improv at Second City Hollywood in addition to his dramatic roles on programs such as Criminal Minds and Grey's Anatomy.
In addition to being an accomplished actor, AJ is also a writer. His screenplay, Ritter's Gold, is an adaptation of Frank Hawkins' novel by the same title. Based on real events, this romantic-adventure trek from the Caribbean to the Swiss Alps enables Brian Ritter, a former World War II commando and treasure hunter, to not only make peace with his past, but also to find love for the first time since his life-altering jump into the brewing Greek civil war.
AJ is thankful for his supportive family, wonderful agents, and dedicated instructors who have enabled him pursue his passion and find his creative voice.
