Aaron Quick Nelson
Aaron "Quick" Nelson is a television, film and stage actor. He is best known for his role as Gavin Williams on Hallmark Channel's movie, "Christmas In Homestead". His other acting credits include roles on the hit television shows CW's Dynasty; Fox's Star; Marvel's The Gifted; and The Karate Kid Saga: Cobra Kai. "Quick" also appears on Netflix's Dolly Parton's Heartstrings, along side Dolly Parton.
"Quick" was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He is the oldest of four children raised by a single mother.
As a child, his family moved around many times, including South Florida which is where he began to spend most of his time in acting class, the football field, and the basketball court, which is where he got the nickname "Quick" because he was quick on the basketball court and since then, it stuck with him. While dealing with poverty in the inner-city, his family moved again to Tallahassee, Florida which is where he started to fall in love with acting at Leon High School where he attended. "Quick" overcame numerous obstacles to become a successful actor in the industry. While working professionally, he continues to work on his craft and acting methods religiously and has been studying across the United States and across the country. He also studies and performs improvisation, and sketch comedy at American Stage Theater and The Groundlings, and also stand-up comedy.
In 2021, "Quick" is appearing in Paramount's comedy film, Coming 2 America along side Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall.
