Abhay Walia
Born in New Delhi, India, Abhay had a passion for the performance arts from a very young age. He acted in many school plays before moving to Washington, D.C. at the age of nine. Growing up in the suburbs of Northern Virginia, he graduated from The College of William & Mary with a double major in Theatre & Business. In his time at William & Mary, Abhay was the lead in two main stage productions, hosted cultural shows, performed at regional venues, and even wrote/directed his own play "Silent Chaos" about the effects of war on the home front. His acting in the Award Winning play "When The Purple Settles" was written about in local newspapers.
Impassioned by the thrill of performing, he immediately moved to Los Angeles after graduating to pursue acting full time. Within a week of moving to LA, he booked his first commercial! It was a sign of things to come...
Now, five years in to this adventure, he has had the pleasure of working as a Principal on dozens of commercials, print campaigns and short films (including Off The Record & Seven Rounds - which are award winning films), as well as many TV shows, and a feature. His most notable bookings came in Lifetime's My Crazy Ex (2016), where he Guest Starred as the Role of Peter and Final Frequency (2019). He feels grateful for all the love LA has shown him so far, and looks forward to many more performances as many different characters.
