Abram Rooney trained at The Oxford School of Drama. He was born and grew up in Ipswich, Suffolk and is the youngest of seven. Television and film work include Pride (2014) and Endeavour (2017). His theatre work includes playing Christopher Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time for The National Theatre in London's West End (2014-15) and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet at The Union Theatre. Other work includes Embryo (2016); Maneater (2016) and Break (2015). He runs the theatre company The Hardy and makes work from their studio space, Kemble House in South East London.
