Adam came late to acting, having trodden the chalk-dusted floorboards of classrooms as an English Teacher for most of his 20s. After setting up a drama company and training professionally, he cut his teeth in theatre before moving on to film and television. With a raw intensity and fragility, he has never shied away from controversial roles, although you are just as likely to see him playing a home-loving family man as a ruthless killer. Adam is a published poet, and bangs away on a drum kit whenever he's allowed an opportunity.
