Adam Sopp
Adam Michael Richard Sopp was born on August 27th 1986 at Farnborough Hospital, Kent. His professional debut was playing Nipper in Cameron Mackintosh's Oliver! at the London Palladium in 1995, followed up by the role of Gavroche in Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre in 1996. Adam's first television role was that of Darren Clarke in BBC's Grange Hill. Joining the cast in 1998 he completed four series with the show receiving it's Bafta for contribution to Children's Television in 2001. After leaving the show Adam trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School with lead roles in Midsummer Night's Dream, Vincent River by Philip Ridley and Stags and Hens by Willy Russell. Since graduating Adam has appeared in Teenage Kicks (ITV), Casualty 1907 (BBC), Doctors (BBC), In Parenthesis by Ben Hales at the Churchill Theatre and All Quiet on the Western Front by Eric Maria Remarque at the Nottingham Playhouse. Adam will be making his film debut in 'Abroad', directed by Philip John.
