Aslaug Holm
Director, cinematographer and editor most known for Brothers (2015), about the childhood and upbringing of her two sons. She won the main price at HotDocs Film Festival (2016) and the Norwegian Amanda for Best Direction for Brothers (2015), first time to a documentary-filmmaker. In 2006 her film, The Rich Country, won Fipresci, the Film critic's prize at Tromsø International Film Festival. She has also directed Generation Utøya (2021), which won peoples choice Amanda (2021). She is co-director and cinematographer on a-ha The Movie (2021). Aslaug Holm was cinematographer and editor on the prizewinning Cool and Crazy (2001), which set box office record for documentaries in Norway. Holm is graduated from film studies at Volda University College.
