Bambi Beltran
Bambi Beltran is born in Tungao, Butuan City, Philippines. Her parents are Francisco and Ramona Beltran, a medical doctor and teacher, respectively. The family moved to Cebu City in 1979 where she attended the University of the Philippines. In 2006, she got her breakthrough in films when she was cast as the lead actress in the short film, Pagbalik. This was followed by the full length film Confessional (2007) where she was actress and co-producer. In the last couple of years, she has been involved in several short and full length films as actress, writer, director and producer. Some of the films she has been involved in are Damgo ni Eleuteria (2010), Di Ingon Nato (2011), Cartas de la Soledad (2011), and Aberya (2012). Her latest film assignment is in the Lav Diaz film, Mula Sa Kung Ano ang Noon (2014), where she plays the role of Babu Rahmah. Bambi Beltran is also a writer and a visual artist. She is a member of the Executive Council of the NCCA-National Cinema Committee since 2011.
