Belçim Bilgin is an award winning movie and TV actress from Turkey. Her family is of Kurdish descent. Her cousin is actress Rojda Demirer. Born in Ankara, Belçim started her undergraduate studies in 2002 in Information and Document Management at Hacettepe University. After two years she decided to pursue her true passion - acting, on a full-time basis. Belçim was cast in several leading roles and most recently was awarded 'Best Actress' at both the Oaxaca Film Festival (2012) and at the Milano International Film Festival (2014).
