Ben Voss

Ben Voss is an actor, comedian and satirist. He has 2 professional degrees - in mechanical engineering and commerce. Look out for the 2021 release of an eight part TV drama to be released on Showmax and MNet. Bens most recent movie credits include Mr. Lilly in the Spud series. He played the lead in Robert Fraser's Game and the supporting lead in Craig Friemond's Beyond the River. For stage, he has written, produced and starred in the hit shows Green Mamba (2006) , Black Mamba (2008) and Mamba Republic (2017). These shows toured in over ten countries and scooped all South Africa's major theatre awards including the Fleur de Cap and Naledi Awards for best script and best comedy performance. He also played Evil Queen Hildagona in Janice Honeyman's 2018 Pantomime, Snow White, which earned him a Naledi award nomination. In 2019 he released Benny Bushwhacker which won an ovation award at the National Arts Festival and played over one-hundred performances nationwide. In 2021 Ben will play one of the ugly sisters in Janice Honeyman's latest pantomime.
