Brian Kahrs
Brian Edward Kahrs was born in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York in 1963 . His father Freddy was a truck driver also known as "Freeway Freddy ". His mother June was a factory worker and house cleaner. At the age of 8 he and his family relocated to the New York City suburbs of Long Island . While attending elementary school on Long Island he excelled in art and sports . He began lifting weights at age 8 after an older neighborhood kid informed him that by lifting weights everyday he could quickly become "the toughest kid on the block ". He immediately hurried home to dig up and old rusty set of weights that his father had stored in his basement and he began lifting . At a young age he began achieving some noticeable results in muscle size and strength that would later help him survive the tough streets of New York . Brian spent very little time indoors during his childhood. He devoted all of his free time to the outdoors playing street sports and exploring small patches forest on Long Island .At age 10 he began working as a newspaper delivery boy after school . He also worked throughout his school years as a night shift factory and restaurant worker .During junior high school ,because of his persistent mischievous and humorous escapades , he was given the nickname "Ziggy" by his teachers and peers ,named after the popular newspaper comic strip character of that era. While growing up during the 70's and 80's in the tough streets of New York Brian spent a lot of time interacting with a wide range of characters with a vast array of personalities . His ability to incorporate memories of these different character types into acting roles helped earn him earn a reputation as a very versatile actor in his later years. During his teen years he began to experiment with creating humorous videos with his mothers 8mm video camera and quickly fell in love with entertainment as a hobby. Later in life Brian would utilize video producing skills he acquired as a youth to become a successful viral video creator . After graduating high school Brian would begin a long grueling career in construction . After several years as an asphalt worker he became an apprentice of the masonry trade . He became a full time master block mason and continued to lay blocks non stop for 40+ years . He has estimated that his arms have laid in excess of 1.5 million cinder blocks during his career . At age 25 Brian moved to Tampa Florida to be close to his mother and grandparents . While there he continued his career of hard core heavy construction in the hot Florida sun for another 30 years . While in Florida he began competing in athletic endurance competitions . Brian has had a long successful career competing in long distance running races , triathlons , 100 mile bicycle races , obstacle course competitions etc... He has also studied over 10 different martial arts and is also an expert at urban and wilderness survival .
