Briana Cap
Briana Cap was born in Lansing, Michigan and, after a series of military moves, was raised in San Diego, California. Her father is a retired Marine and her mother worked in sales. She is a middle child and has two sisters. An avid soccer player, Briana played competitively through high school and then went on to play at California State University Northridge. There, she received a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and was awarded the "Mark of Excellence Award" from the Society of Professional Journalists for excellence in radio sports reporting.
After graduating college, Briana turned her attention to her acting career. She began her studies with Terri Ross in San Diego, focusing on the Stanislavsky System. During this time, Briana also toured the country as a professional Polynesian dancer with the Kalena O'Hilo dance troupe. After signing with an agent and enjoying a successful career in the smaller market of San Diego, she returned to LA to pursue acting full-time, where she has booked several television, film and commercial projects. In 2016, she debuted in her recurring role as journalist Barbara Dicasoli on "Rosewood" (FOX.) In the spring of 2019, she starred alongside Oscar-winner Brie Larson in the short film, "The Debriefing."
