Briana Henry
Briana came all the way from Miami Florida to attend the University of Southern California. There she graduated with her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Theatre Acting and confirmed for herself this was the career she was passionate about pursuing. Having not had much acting experience prior to graduating high school, she entered a "Poetry Out Loud" competition where she performed two poems, made it to state finals and fell in love with the exchange that takes place when an artist and an audience are in the same space. Growing up with a mother who was a Jazz singer, and a father who always had the dream of becoming a writer, she never really stood a chance of not becoming an artist. Having been inspired by the competition, her father found a month long acting program at USC where she would then seek the opportunity to audition for the program that next year.
While attending USC, Briana was given the opportunity to become a recurring character on the well-known Soap Opera, The Young and the Restless. Having originally landed a role for just one episode, her character was expanded to 16. The Young and the Restless opened the door to a series of other opportunities on several different shows. Some of those shows being NBC's Undateable, CW's Jane the Virgin, ABC's Stitchers, and most recently HBO's Insecure and The Morning Show on Apple +. She is currently a series regular on the long running Soap Opera General Hospital.
Briana dabbled in the fitness world for a while, having been an athlete her whole life, she was able to find a home being a Soul Cycle instructor with the very popular Indoor Cycling Company. She spent 2.5 years with the company when she decided she needed to rededicate all of her time to acting.
