Brooke McCormick

Brooke McCormick is an actress from San Antonio, Texas where she grew up performing in theater. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in film from Southern Methodist University completing her studies in Paris, France and interning as script supervisor and video assistant on a feature film. She caught the film acting bug and moved to LA in the year 2000 to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She received a degree in acting and became a third year company member performing in multiple lead roles. She has worked steadily in theater, film, commercials and TV the past 15 years both in Los Angeles and San Diego and she attributes that to being a good person, Meisner based training/Improv and years of finding joy in her work. She teaches On-Camera Audition Technique at The LA Acting Studio SD and has a true passion for guiding and helping other actors. She has been compared to a young Edie Falco by multiple CD's and coaches and excels at portraying tough and wise female characters, mature women that know a thing or two and larger than life comedic characters. She loves any opportunity to use her Texas accent!
