Fernanda Aguilar

Fernanda Aguilar (she/her) is an awarded Brazilian-Canadian actor and filmmaker. Born and raised in Brazil, she began her training in Performing Arts in 1998 at age 16, receiving an award nomination for Best Emerging Actress early in her career. With over 20 years of experience, she has performed in a variety of plays and musicals, and received an award for Best Supporting Actress in 2009. Determined to pursue an international career, Fernanda moved to Canada to continue her training, graduating in Acting for Film & TV from Vancouver Film School in 2015. Along with her passion for both the stage and the screen, Fernanda also has a bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism and is passionate about outdoor sports and nature, where she finds inspiration and refuge.
