Fikile Mthwalo
Fikile Mthwalo is a Lesotho born actor who is best known for playing the role of "Zak" on the long standing South African show, Isidingo (1998). She went on to become a series regular on E-TV's "Gold Diggers", and starred in two seasons of Mzansi Magic's series It's Complicated (2015). Acting is Fikile's calling, but she continues to develop creative works of her own, such as Tech Bae (2018), a digital series about women of color in tech.
Fikile is also the founder of Glubbs, an eco-friendly disposable gloves brand. Glubbs was a recipient of an American Express grant and mentorship prize as part of their Founders of Change initiative to provide financial and educational backing for 100 black female business owners.
Fikile graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA in Film and Video Production. She received her MFA in acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Fikile calls South Africa home and spends most of her time between New York and Los Angeles.
