Filipa Reis
Filipa REIS (1977) and João MILLER GUERRA (1974) live and work together in Lisbon, Portugal. They directed the documentaries "Fora da Vida" (Best Portuguese Short Film IndieLisboa 2015), "Bela Vista" (Best International Short Film FIDOCS 2013 and Honorable Mention MiradasDoc 2013), "Cama de Gato" (Best Portuguese Short Film IndieLisboa 2012 and Revelation Prize at Luso-Brazilian Film Festival Santa Maria da Feira 2012), "Orquestra Geração", "Nada Fazi" (Best Portuguese Film Fantasporto 2012 and Audience Award Cortex Short Film Festival Sintra 2012) and "Li Ké Terra" ( Best Portuguese Feature Film DocLisboa 2010 and Special Jury Mention MiradasDoc 2011 ). Their films were presented at international festivals such as Cinéma du Réel, IDFA, DokLeipzig, Bordocs, ForumdocBH, Festival dei Popoli, Olhar de Cinema, Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife, FIDBA, Dok.Fest, Molodist, Parnu, and others. Their first feature fiction film is currently (2015) in post-production. Together they have the film production company, Uma Pedra No Sapato, responsible for films such as, "Balada de um Batraquio", by Leonor Teles, who won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at Berlin International Film Festival in 2016.
