Finnian James
Finnian's love for acting was sparked at the Australian Theatre for Young People, where he participated in the Drama Ensemble and Young Theatre Makers. He expanded his craft at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) where he studied Drama, Improvisation and Acting for Screen.
At 16, Finnian has already assembled a diverse list of credits in front of and behind the camera. In 2021, he played the lead role of Jake in the feature film 'Hostile Forces' alongside George Basha and Maya Stange, and in 2022 played the lead role of Sam in 'The Other You' opposite Luke Ford and Kym Jackson. In 2023, Finnian played the role of Alfie in the Disney+ series The Artful Dodger.
Finnian won the Flickerfest Documentary Award for his short form documentary 'The Solomon Islands' and The V Fest Short Filmmaking Award for his documentary 'The Hoodoos' as well as working as a production assistant and cameraman on the award winning documentary series 'Inspired Architecture'.
