Born in Lörrach Germany. Florian Schnell started studying fictional artwork on University of Hildesheim and did various internships for stage and film. From 2008 to 2015 directing student at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy. Scholarship of the "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes". Participant of the exchange programme "Hollywood-Workshop" at UCLA in LA. Many of his movies were national and international awarded. In 2010 he received the award of the best German young director. His movie "Mia and the Minautor" recently won the best children's movie at the well known German Filmfestival Goldener Spatz His graduation film "Offline" was nominated for the "Max Ophüls Preis", one of Germanys oldest and most acclaimed Filmfestivals and won the LEO award for the best Youth movie.
