Francesco Carnesecchi
Born in 1985, Francesco graduates from European Institute of Design in 2007. The same year he moves to New York to attend a post-graduate program in Filmmaking at the NYFA. In 2011, he founds Wrong Way Pictures, production company based in New York, with which he is carrying on both commercial and narrative projects. His work includes clients such as Toshiba, Pfitzer, BBC, Tod's, Bulgari, and artists such as Alex Ferreira, Pompeya, Modà and Jovanotti. In 2012 he wins the New York Independent Film Festival and the California Film Awards with the music-video "Greenback Boogie" - main theme of the famous Tv-Show "Suits". His short-film "Six" is selected at the Mill Valley Film Festival and wins the Rome Creative Contest, Corto Dorico, Taos Film Festival and Forum on Law Culture Society in New York. In 2014 he co-produces Digging New York - a documentary about the origin of the hip-hop culture, hosted by Danno of Colle der Fomento. In 2016 with the short-film "La Partita" (The Holy Game) Carnesecchi wins the Social World Film Festival, the Fellini Prize at the Amarcort Film Festival and gets more than 30 festival-selections. His work has been featured on Rolling Stone, Vice and La Stampa. His first feature-film "La Partita" (The Final Game), based from the homonymous short-film, produced by Freak Factory and distributed by Zenit Distribution, it's been presented at the Taormina Film Festival and will hit theaters on February 2020.
