Francesco Di Napoli
Francesco was born in July 2001 in Naples, Italy. He never thought of becoming a professional actor, as he was working in a pastry shop at night to get by. His life changes when he was discovered by director Claudio Giovannesi who convinced him to become his "Nicola" the lead role for his movie "Piranhas". The movie is a huge success everywhere. At the 2019 Berlinale "Piranhas" wins the Silver Bear for best screenplay. After this amazing experience, Francesco is now sure he wants to become a professional actor, so his name starts to spread around, he wins a very tough casting session for the lead of the new Sky Original series "Romulus". Francesco is Wiros, a slave in the 8th century B.C.. The whole series is acted in ancient Latin. "Romulus" gains lot's of success and Francesco starts to be sought-after also from many fashion designers: Virgil Abloh wants him and a little group of fellas from Naples, for his 2020 Men Campaign for Louis Vuitton - a worldwide campaign shot in the streets with a luxury touch. Francesco is also the face of cinema magazine covers (Fabrique Du Cinema) and also fashion covers (Dust Magazine) and wins three awards in 1 year for best upcoming actor. His love for the entertainment business is now his main job, that helps him "fighting his shyness".
