Francesco Giannini
Actor turned director, Francesco Giannini always had his heart set on storytelling. Whether it was creating short skits with his brother in their basement as kids, or spending his 20's acting in films' such as X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Noël, and 300 to pay for his degree, Giannini's one and true love has always been Cinema. Moreover, spending a majority of his younger years in front of the camera, Francesco would soon realize, behind the scenes was where he truly belonged . His debut short film, The Race of Life, was chosen to play at the Cannes Short Corner in 2012. His follow-up, The Prince, based on an Italian fable, was officially selected to play in the Milano International Film Festival. Finally, his Dystopian short The Flare debuted to critical acclaim at the Fantasia International Film Festival. In between making short films, Giannini worked on a variety of commercial projects. In 2015 he started his own production company, Franky Films, to help pursue his creative endeavors. Francesco would take on his first major film as Executive Producer with Horror/Thriller, Woodland Grey and would later make his feature film directorial debut with Psychological Horror film HALL; soon to be released. Furthermore, his experiences as an Actor, Cinematographer and Editor have all helped in cementing Francesco as a future Auteur Combined with his ability to turn projects with minimal resources and money into films lauded for their high production value, Franky Films has become an early success story. Francesco currently has 2 other scripts in development, both finalists at the Academy Nicholl Fellowships Awards and official Black List entries in LA.
