Francisco D Gonzalez
Francisco was born Francisco D Gonzalez in Guanajay, Cuba, to a Cuban mother, Andrea C Gonzalez-Garcia, a seamstress, and a Cuban father, Francisco E Gonzalez-Rodriguez, a restaurateur. He has one sister Celida B Trujillo. Francisco was raised in Miami, Florida primarily although he and his family briefly lived in Los Angeles CA. and Brownsville TX. after immigrating to the United States before settling in Florida. Before he became an actor, he was an accomplished aeronautical professional. He graduated from the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2003.
Francisco's entry into the acting business came in 2014 when he was given an opportunity to star in several productions from the Miami Dade College Film School. His son, Christopher Gonzalez and his friend Pedro Gomez, who were film production students at the time, gave Francisco his start. He also had roles in Low Tide Drive (2015), a film by Robert Ramos, Treasures of The Wetlands (2016), and the psychological thriller Clean Slate (2017) by Pedro Gomez. In 2018 he completed his first feature film. A horror film titled The Last Thanksgiving (2018) by Erick Lorinc. In addition to movie appearances, he made an appearance in the Netflix series Paper Empire (2018). He also had a part in national a commercial for Florida Blue cross and Blue Shield.
He has a daughter and a son with his wife, Interior Designer Maria I Gonzalez.
