Fredrik Skogsrud
Fredrik Skogsrud was born and raised in Oslo, Norway.
In his early youth, Fredrik and a group of his friends, created an acrobatics- and performance team with whom he held several shows and workshops around the world. Eventually, the team began producing its own stunt movies on a regular basis, thus introducing Fredrik to the world of movie making.
Before long, his schoolwork fell to the wayside of writing scripts and editing films. Fredrik soon found himself even directing and acting in the projects - he had found his true calling.
Still in high school, Fredrik was introduced to the stage when he was cast as an understudy acrobat in Oslo Nye Theater's production of "The Nutcracker". Although he was smitten by the magic of the theater and fascinated by how the actors around him prepared for their roles, the idea of making a profession out of his new found passion first came to mind when he was later cast as an actor in a production of "The Flying Dutchman" at The New Opera in Bergen.
The experience left him profoundly committed to pursue a career in acting. Shortly thereafter, he applied and was accepted at the The Norwegian Institute of Acting, where he graduated in 2011.
After his graduation, Fredrik left Norway for Los Angeles, to attend a three-month acting course at the prestigious Ivana Chubbuck Studios.
Since then, he has made his living both on stage and screen, appearing in features, short films, TV series, plays and music videos.
