HB Gibson
Multi-Talented Artist and Newark, New Jersey native, HB Gibson (Harold B. Gibson) was aspired to perform since the age of 10, when he recreated a talk show set in his bedroom using a desk, a mirror and a hairbrush as a microphone. He studied Television Production at Essex County College and Drama at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts in Bloomfield, NJ. Seeking the desire of being in front of the camera and not just behind it, HB ventured to fulfill his dream.
He successfully landed his first dual role in the stage play "They Sing Christmas Up in Harlem" at the Legendary Newark Symphony Hall Black Box Theater, with a theater group called The Phoenix Ensemble during the holiday season of 2006. Since then, HB appeared in over 10 plays including an Off-Broadway production of "A Soldier's Play" where he performed as the Blues guitar playing soldier, C.J. Memphis. Coincidentally, he taught himself to play Blues guitar for this role. From 2013 - 2019, he starred in a Sci-Fi award winning web series as Agent Darius in Alex Fernandez's Body Jumpers and Body Jumpers Resurrection. Recognizing the need for action with this series, he choreographed numerous fight scenes and executed his own stunts.
He is an avid cosplayer, appearing at events and conventions. He was featured in the Independent Creator's Connection (ICC) magazine as New Jersey's legend in cosplay. Also noted in Cosplayzine Magazine appearing as Richard B. Riddick from the Pitch Black and Riddick films and a YouTuber creating two entertainment talk shows, The HB Gibson show and The X Xone.
