Hana Wu
Hana Wu is an Asian American actor who was born in Taiwan and grew up in San Jose, CA. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Sociology and went on to obtain a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and her license in Marriage and Family Therapy before leaving academia behind in pursuit of acting. Early on, she landed leading roles in indie shorts and webseries that have gone on to screen at film festivals, including Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, LA Shorts Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Louisville International Film Festival, and Independent Filmmakers Showcase. More recently, she played Constance Du in the "The Kids Table" series (for which she won Best Supporting Actress at HRIFF), a Chinese American popstar in the "Pineapple" series, which was shot in Hong Kong with an international cast and crew, and the lead role in the biographical drama feature film "Five Cent Life" (2019).
