Harry Borland
Harry Borland lives in Melbourne where he pursues his passions of acting and writing. He had his first public role in an ensemble cast for a 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival live theatrical event , "Death by Chocolate", where he played a youthful murderer. This audience-participation murder mystery won the Fringe Festival Award for "Best Special Event". Harry played the titular role in the award winning short film "My Girlfriend Jim" as well as a being part of the ensemble in the successful film "At the Formal". Harry has also played lead and supporting roles in other short films including: "Emo: The Musical", "At the Formal", " Poppy Projectionist" and "Junior". Harry's TV experience has involved work as an extra on several popular Australian series during 2008-2009, and a speaking role in the ABC series "Australia on Trial" in 2011. He has also performed in a number of training videos for mental health professionals. Harry's role in "The Playbook" is his first feature film role but since completing filming he has also finished shooting in a role on the new Australian Feature Film 'The Turning", based on Tim Winton's short stories, that is due for release in 2013.
