Hermann Sabado
2009 saw Hermann make his feature debut as Axel in "Upperdog" by the acclaimed director Sara Johnsen. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Amanda Awards (The Norwegian International Film Festival) and for Best Actor at the Kanon Awards (Trondheim International Film Festival). The critically acclaimed film was one of the biggest selling movies in Norway in 2009 and won several awards.
Hermann graduated from Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Actor BA in 2007 and he made his debut in the leading role of Alan Strang in "Equus" at Trøndelag Theatre. He went on to perform several leading roles at Trøndelag Theatre including Kasimir in "Kasimir & Karoline, Kalle in "Cold", Melchior in "Spring Awakening" and Romeo in "Romeo & Juliet". He won a UT-Award for Best Actor from Mid-Norway (2008) and Teatrets Venners Artistic Award for his work at Trøndelag Theatre.
In 2010 Hermann started working at The National Theatre in Oslo were he has appeared as Franz in "Innocence", as Cassio in "Othello", as Charles VII in "Joan Of Arc", as Jean in "Miss Julie" and as Thomas in Liv Ullmanns "Private Confessions".
