Hunter Reese Peña
Hunter Reese Peña is an American Actor, born and raised in California's Central Valley. The son of Mexican immigrant parents, he is a bilingual English and Spanish speaker. He's based in Los Angeles, CA.
Inspired by Lena Dunham's accomplishments with HBO's Girls, his most notable venture in writing/directing paired him with comedy legend Martin Lawrence for a social media short, giving him the opportunity to direct and learn from Mr. Lawrence, and garnering over one hundred thousand views on Facebook.
Hunter fell in love with acting when he landed his first theater role at the age of 19. Since then his mission has been to learn the art of acting by following the examples set by his greatest acting heroes, Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman.
He studied the Meisner Technique with Sanford Meisner alum Don Bloomfield at The DBA Studio, where he learned how to connect to the heart of every character, and became obsessed with acting.
Hunter has studied with countless singing coaches and acting studios, he's a proud life-long student of life, spirituality, and the performance arts.
