Laila Lockhart Kraner
Laila was born in Boca Raton, Florida, and loved entertaining and performing in front of family from an early age. Laila would gather her older brother, sister, parents and even stuffed animals in a room, singing and dancing for them while pretending to be different characters. Laila's inclination towards acting became even more apparent at the young age of six when her family moved from Boca Raton, Florida to Los Angeles. After attending just a few acting classes, she simply declared to her family that she knew she wanted to be an actress. Laila then went on to attend acting showcases and eventually signed with an agent and manager. This resulted in her booking several commercials for "ABC mouse.com", and "Chevy World Cup"- incredible experiences that solidified her interest in acting. Soon thereafter, Laila booked the role of "Kai" in "Shots Fired" and "Young Rainbow" on ABC's hit-show "Blackish". Next came the lead role of "Gabby" in "Gabby's Dollhouse". When Laila is not acting, she enjoys her time playing electric guitar in a band, dancing, singing and taking her dog Milo for long walks, and cuddling with her cat Apollo.
