Lali Gonzalez
Graciela Belén González Mendoza, professionally known as Lali Gonzalez (born December 27, 1986, in Asuncion, Paraguay) is a Paraguayan actress of stage and films. After graduating from theatre school "El Estudio" in 2010, she was featured in the second chapter of the Paraguayan television series "La Herencia de Caín" (2010). Her breakout film role was playing Liz in "7 Boxes" (2010), a film nominated for the 27th Edition of the Goya Awards, in the "Best Foreign Film in Spanish" category. "7 Boxes" has been participating in more than 25 international film festivals and has been released in various countries. Following her successful debut, she appeared in a number of Latin American films, including: the Paraguayan-Argentinian movie "Lectura según Justino" (2013), directed by Arnaldo André; the Argentinian film "El hijo buscado" (2013) from director Daniel Gagliano; the Paraguayan movies "Luna de cigarras" (2014), from director Jorge Diaz de Bedoya, and "Mangoré" (2015), casting along with renowned Mexican actor Damián Alcázar, directed by Chilean Luis Vera; Revenge strategy" (2016), from Colombian director Carlos Varela: and the Honduran film "Un lugar en el Caribe" (2017), from director Juan Carlos Fanconi, where she casts alongside international actors Gastón Pauls, Gabriela de la Garza, José Zúñiga and Rodrigo Guirao Díaz. Most recently Lali appeared in the Argentinian film "El jugador" (2016), featured on Netflix since July 2018, becoming the first Paraguayan actress appearing in the streaming platform. She also starred the Paraguayan film "La redención (2018)", directed by Herib Godoy. In 2018, she appears in the Argentinian-Paraguayan movie "Gracias Gauchito" by Argentinian director Cristian Jure, and is also working in the Argentinian movie "Los que vuelven", directed by Laura Casabé.
