Lanisha Javon Gholston

Lanisha Javon Gholston is an American actress from Louisville, Kentucky. She began her career in theatre at an early age. She attended the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS) for high school where her desire for acting blossomed. After serving 10 years in the United States Army Reserves, Lanisha went full force back into her acting. She performed in many local theatre companies in Kentucky. Since moving to New York City in 2016, Lanisha has had speaking contributions on Chicago P.D., I Am Homicide, The Last O.G., POWER, New Amsterdam, several independent films & projects, and an internet commercial. Lanisha is no stranger to hard work and sacrifice. She is a go-getter with a tremendous amount of God given natural talent. She has been a student of several different acting workshops and schools to include the New York Film Academy (NYFA).
