Laur Allen
Laur Allen is a multi-ethnic Los Angeles native who made her network TV debut as the recurring character "Juliet Helton" on CBS's "The Young and the Restless." Her upcoming projects include the action-thriller, "Aimee," and the action-comedy "Gimme My Money." She recently starred alongside Lindsay Wagner, Amanda Righetti, and Archie Kao in the holiday romcom "Christmas at the Ranch."
Prior to acting, Laur worked behind the camera in production and development, and then in the TV marketing department at a major studio. Laur had her first experience in the spotlight when she won the title of Miss Los Angeles Chinatown, becoming the first mixed-ethnicity Queen in the pageant's history. That year, she proudly served as the ambassador for the Southern California Chinese community, both locally and abroad. Following Miss Los Angeles Chinatown, Laur was invited to compete in Miss Chinese International in Hong Kong, where she made Top 7 and won Miss Friendship. These years representing her heritage helped inspire Laur to develop a career in front of the camera that would also allow her to be a voice for her community.
Laur grew up as a competitive figure skater, basketball player, and classical pianist. An avid learner, Laur currently trains in tactical weapons, and attended both pistol and sniper school. In addition, Laur graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University and she graduated class of 2020 from USC Gould School of Law, which she attended while simultaneously working on "The Young and The Restless." She was recently admitted as a member of the State Bar of CA. With a strong passion for advocacy, Laur works to combine acting and law by creating an empowering platform through which she can have a positive humanitarian impact.
