Lauren Clinton
Lauren Clinton, a native of Southern California, born in Los Angeles and raised in Orange County, began acting and singing at a very young age. Starting in local theater and singing in local venues, she developed her talents and was fortunate to have been cast in a few critically acclaimed theatrical productions, one of which was nominated for the industry respected LADCC award, and won a Back Stage West Garland award. She and the cast were invited to perform the opening number for the 2004 LA Ovation Awards Show held at the historic Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. After building her resume with ten short films, and eleven on stage performances, Lauren was cast in her first major motion picture; Walt Disney Pictures/Walden Media's "Bridge to Terabithia" (2007). Lauren plays the nemesis in the role of Janice Avery. The cast from this film went on to win the "Young Artist Awards" "Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Ensemble Cast" in the year 2008.
In 2011 Lauren moved to London, England to study music as well as write and perform her own original music.
In May 2017, Lauren wrote and directed a short film entitled, "Highway Children." It won an honorable mention at the Los Angeles Film Awards. In August 2018, she wrote, directed, and starred in a second short film, "Light".
In addition to performing, directing & writing, Lauren enjoys traveling.
