Lauren Paulis
Lauren Paulis was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. Her father is a composer and college professor and her mother is a music teacher at an arts academy in Canton. Growing up, Lauren knew she wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She starred in many local plays and performed in a vocal jazz and choral ensemble, competing at places like Western Michigan University and Walt Disney World.
Since then, Lauren has studied at Kent State University and then graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. During her time at Marymount Manhattan, Lauren acquired a love for Shakespeare and worked closely with John Basil, a founding member of the American Globe Theatre. In addition to Shakespeare, she received extensive dance training( Jeff Shade, Tera-Lee Pollin, Jacob Brent, Emily Clark), private voice study (John Welch), and on-camera training (Ann Hamilton).
After graduation, Lauren has been in numerous films and commercials. Lauren was recently nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work on a short film called "Dischord".
Lauren now resides in Los Angeles.
