Leah Leyva

Leah Leyva is a New Mexican singer/ songwriter and actor/director. She has fronted Leah Leyva and The Band for more than 8 years. They released their debut EP in 2017 and have played at a variety of local events and venues from weddings and breweries to SOMOS Abq. She won 1st place at Albuquerque Has Talent in 2011 and 1st place at Albuquerque's Got Talent in 2018. Her short "My Only Love" was an official selection of Albuquerque Film and Music Experience 2015. In 2017 her film "The Inferno", was an official selection of the Comics in Film Festival and it is now part of a Borderlands Media horror anthology, "Lady Bella Donna's Tales from The Inferno". This year Leyva's most recent short film, "High Stakes" was a finalist in the NM Filmmaker's Showcase.
