Lucas Calzada
Lucas Calzada is a queer Latino actor, writer, and director born and raised in Alaska.
As an actor, Lucas is adept at performing comedy and drama thanks to his classical training (MFA from Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory). He is known for the intelligence, compassion, and relatability he brings to his roles.
As a writer of TV and film, Lucas' work extends to the worlds of both comedy and drama. His work is heavily influenced by his outsider upbringing, as well as his extensive background in theatre and love of intellectual exploration.
As a director, Lucas enjoys creating short films, experimental pieces, and very silly sketch comedy bits.
His mission as an artist-creator is to help people appreciate the richness of the world around them, connect to a larger community, and assist them in having a damn good time on this crazy ride called life.
