Lucas Figueroa
As a film director, producer and screenwriter, Lucas Figueroa has created a groundbreaking career throughout his three decades of commercial and artistic productions in more than 20 countries. He is known for winning more than 500 international awards and receiving the Guinness World Records award for the "Most Awarded Short Film in the World" Porque hay cosas que nunca se olvidan (2008).
His first feature film Viral (2013) is considered the first European branded content featured film with the collaboration of Vodafone, Samsung and Canon, among others. Despido procedente (2017), his latest feature film, is now available in over 190 countries through Netflix.
Lucas is the founder of Mr. Monkey, a production house which has worked with Universal Studios, Fox, Disney, Paramount, MTV, Nickelodeon, SYFY and History Channel among others. He also has established New Frequency, a production company who focuses on stories of personal development, transformation and consciousness research.
