Lucas Rice Jordan
Lucas Rice Jordan lives with his mother Gina Jordan in western Sonoma County, where he attends school. He displayed both musical interest and ability at an early age. His favorite band when he was two-years-old was T. Rex, which he says today was because he imagined three Tyrannosaurus Rex playing guitar and singing; he taught himself to read when he was four so that he could understand the play list and liner notes of Nirvana's album "Bleach." He plays saxophone in his school band and practices electric guitar and piano on his own.
Yet despite his ongoing love of music, he began to broaden his interest in entertaining and has said since he was about three-and-a-half that he will be an actor. A movie buff with a great memory, he can (and does) recite long passages from his favorite films.
A chance encounter with Francis Ford Coppola at Mr. Coppola's winery in Geyserville resulted in the realization of his goal much sooner than anyone, including Lucas, anticipated. A few weeks after the meeting, during which Lucas told the director that he was going to be an actor, Mr. Coppola cast him in a cameo role as a 9-year-old boy in Twixt (2011). In the film, he is something of a card shark and appears on screen with both Val Kilmer and Bruce Dern.
Lucas is the only grandson of writer Michele Anna Jordan and the cousin of actor Christian Eric Billings.
