Lucia Frangione
Lucia Frangione is an internationally produced award winning actor and author with twenty-five stage plays to her name. She is beginning to cross over into film.
Plays include Espresso, Leave of Absence, Fresco, Paradise Garden, Cariboo Magi, Etienne, and Chickens. She is published with Talon books.
As an actor she has worked in regional theatres across Canada. Recent roles include: Vicki in Except In the Unlikely Event of War at Pi Theatre/Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Estelle in No Exit at ACT, San Francisco, Myrtle in Brief Encounter at The Vancouver Playhouse and Manitoba Theatre Centre, PG in NiX at Alberta Theatre Projects and Pam in the Full Monty at Persephone Theatre, SK. She is an associate artist with the acclaimed Pacific Theatre and has a play in development with the Arts Club and Prairie Theatre Exchange. She is also working on an opera called Off Leash with composer Timothy Benton Roark in association with Fugue Theatre and Turning Point Ensemble Orchestra.
Lucia lives in Vancouver, BC, with her daughter.
