Mahri Shelton
Mahri Shelton was born in Baltimore, Maryland but spent most of her life as an urban Floridian. In her younger years, she acted in school plays and became involved in drama classes and theater productions in high school.
Mahri attended Florida State University and her first foray into film was with FSU's College of Motion Picture and Recording Arts, one of the most prestigious film schools in the country. After working with FSU FILM Mahri was inspired to find an agent and pursue a professional career as an actress.
After a brief sabbatical to work in government Mahri has now returned to acting. She studied with Lon Bumgarner at the Film Actors' Studio for a year and half and has since been active in the North and South Carolina Film Community.
In addition to booking lead and supporting roles in independent films, she has also worked in industrial, commercial and voice over productions.
Mahri lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and is finally living her life-long dream.
