Majdi Smiri

Majdi Smiri is a screenwriter and director born in 1984 in Tunis where he succeed in cinema and television with his remarkable and innovative style. After being awarded twice as best director, Majdi left his country in search of new challenges. Since then, he toured the Middle East & North Africa where he has been directing many series with huge success across Egypt, UAE, Lebanon, and Algeria... Landing in Los Angeles in 2019 he directed the first Ruku original series "Cypher". With more than 12 projects in MENA, including 3 projects on Netflix and 2 others on the Shahid platform, Majdi is considered one of the most successful directors in the region.
