Mako San
Michael Simmons, also known as Mako San (May Co Sun), was born on February 4th, 1976 in Manhatten, New York. He is the son of Ray Simmons and Mercedes Benitez. His father, from San Juan Puerto Rico, was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and his mother is of Spaniard and Puerto Rican descent. While growing up, Mako moved because of the instability of his parents. During his high school years, Mako began studying Martial Arts and he soon received a Black Belt in the art of Tae-Kwon-Do. From Baruch university, Mako majored in Business and business management. Mako was always interested in pursuing acting but never had the courage to, so he succumbed to working in the corporate atmosphere. When 9/11 ensued, Mako became homeless living in the hard city streets of New York, not knowing where to sleep nor, where'd he'd consume his next meal. Utilizing his Martial Arts prowess, he was able to overcome homelessness and now presently runs Full Element Martial Arts, located in the Bronx New York and presently established for twenty two years helping the youth and adults of the community. Once Mako became stable, he pursued studying the art of acting being trained by Dr. Peter Miner and Dianne Miner of Terri Shcreiber Studios. Mako has a humongous passion for Star Wars and dreams of being one the major villain Sith Lords in a Star Wars Franchise.
