Farrell lends his voice to two upcoming anime projects from Sentai Studios/AMC Networks. He plays 'Smith' in "Shenmue," which can be seen on Cartoon Network's AdultSwim, Crunchyroll, Hulu, YouTube TV, and SlingTv. You can also hear Farrell on the global hit anime show "Haikyuu," being released March 29th, 2022 on Blu-ray and on Roku, Amazon Prime Video, and Crunchy Roll. It won the IGN award for 'Best Anime Series.'
Next for Malcolm Farrell is the role of 'Crypto Kid' in The Dirty 3rd: Next Generation. The film also stars Clifton Powell, Chico Bean, and rapper Propain. Directed by Nahala Johnson with cinematography from Isaac Yowman, the film is a remake of The Dirty 3rd which came out in 2000. The indie cult favorite told the true to life story of Southern Hustlers and Players on a mission for millions. As the tale unfolds two rival gangs clash over money and power ending.
Farrell's additional indie film credits include "Tijuana Jackson: Purpose Over Prison" (starring Romany Malco), "All Screwed Up," and "The Freshman Year." He can also be seen in national and regional commercials for HEB Market, Target, and Svedka vodka. When he isn't acting, Farrell likes to spend time doing charity work with the Best Buddies Houston chapter, reading, writing, and enjoying music.
