Missy Doty
Grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she attended Princeton High School. Attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO. and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre. First play in LA was "Miss Pell is Missing" at the Long Beach Playhouse where she won the Ethel Case Award for Major Supporting Female. Was a member of the Blue Sphere Alliance theatre company, where she was the Secretary for 5 years. Favorite role to date is "Plum" in Fat Chicks. A play her friend Alyson Croft wrote. It deals with the issue of how society makes women feel "inadequate" and the consequences we put ourselves into.
